Description

DAILY
1)   Assist sales team in developing and maintaining efficient daily/weekly routes
2)   Ride with sales people to help identify opportunities for wine list needs and new item placements
3)   Aid sales team with identifying and attaining new customers
4)   Support the sales team with day to day needs
5)   Assist with staff trainings, tastings and wine dinners
6)   Cover vacation routes and open sales routes
7)   Monitor competitive activity
WEEKLY
1)   Manage aspects of the graphics department including the formatting and content of wine lists
2)   Helping to control costs within the graphics department
MONTHLY
3)   Participate in select Management and supplier meetings
4)   Develop sales programs that will increase sales, as expected monthly
5)   Coordinate the attainment of bi-monthly dollar and placement goals

Supervisory Responsibilities:
1)    Develop and maintain a sales call process document for servicing on-premise retailers
2)    Determine measurable, reportable, and accountable goals for team
3)    Conduct annual mid year reviews for all employees
4)    Communicate product and business information to your team on a regular basis
5)    Interview, hire and set training goals in conjunction with Dir of On-Premise for new employees
6)    Document successes and opportunities for improvement for each team member

Direction:
1)    Determine the responsibilities of each team member to maximize their individual abilities
2)    Conduct regular team meetings to communicate APB process improvements
3)    Involve teams in problem solving
4)    Ensure orientation, training and coaching for new team members
5)    Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with APB practices and policies

Evaluation:
Conduct timely reviews of accomplishments and individual opportunities based on measurable goals
Maintain team files to include: attendance records, work reviews and current job descriptions

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years sales experience

Bachelor's degree preferred

Sales Management experience a plus
