Merchandiser

Overview

Seeking hands-on, hardworking merchandisers with knowledge of the craft beer industry with an entrepreneurial spirit and familiarity with the Greensboro, Winston or Linwood areas. Merchandisers will work alongside Sales representatives, or independently while marketing and merchandising the RH Barringer's products and displays within an assigned territory, servicing specific stores and restaurants on a regular basis.

• Education: High School or GED; Have a 4 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Requirements

• Follow a specified route in personal vehicle on a daily basis
• Breakdown and restock deliveries at retail accounts
• Build displays at retail accounts
• Ensure that all product is rotated and code policy is followed
• Fill shelves, end caps, and coolers with product to ensure proper cooler and shelf management
• Maintain courteous and respectful attitude toward customers and co-workers
• Knowledge of all pricing, promotions and company goals
• Maintain package integrity and quality standards in the marketplace
• Build, disassemble and maintain and merchandise displays in various accounts, if required
• Maintain back room and back stock in neat and orderly condition
• Strong understanding of branding principles and the ability to apply those principles to merchandising materials
• Willingness to work until the entire job is done, including in adverse weather conditions, including overtime, weekends and holidays as business dictates
• Improve and build customer relationships at the retail level
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Any other tasks as requested by management
• Assume accountability for all equipment used to deliver and merchandise an assigned route

Qualifications

• Self-motivated
• Ability to develop friendly, working relationships
• Can work with a team
• Geographical knowledge of Central NC
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish) helps
